_**Job brief**_

We are currently looking for a Production Floor Manager to join our Food Manufacturing facility based in Mississauga, Ontario. In this position, the Floor Manager will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for managing and supervising employees to ensure security, safety, food specs, quality assurance of products, sanitation, HACCP and Canada Health regulations are followed. Adhering to labor/food allocations will be a key performance indicator.
- **Responsibilities**_
- Ensures quality production standards are maintained for all accounts.
- Make sure all lines meet their respective shift goes within the correspondent timeline.
- Maintains Company policies and procedures as well as specification books for customers and serve as a knowledgeable resource relative to those policies.
- Understanding the HACCP flow and capabilities of the manufacturing plant
- Responsible for submitting timely reports to the Director of Operations on production allocations.
- Ensure line runs are following labor allocations and ingredient allocations.
- Investigate lines to maintain the efficiency of each product.
- Responsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specifications and regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
- Assist the Production Managers in maintaining the team of employees and the manufacturing facility with proper GMPs, safety and production schedules.
- Act as an Ambassador for the manufacturing facility.

- Job Type: Permanent Full-time
- Probationary Period: 3-months
- Work Location: 7050 Telford Way, Mississauga, ON L5S 1V7.
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
- Facility runs 365 days per year; must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Regularly, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts to 8+ hours.
- Work environment will be noisy and at low temperatures (around 3C)
- Must be able to lift to 23kg.
- **Qualifications**:_
- 3-5 years in High Volume Food Production
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strong and effective leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage a staff of 20 +employees.
- Concise and coherent reporting
- Strong logic and math skills
- Ability to adapt positively to change and stressful situations.
- Knowledge n GMP, HACCAP is required.
- Knowledge in BRC is an asset.
