Rocky Point Medical Clinic is looking for a part-time Medical Office Assistance to join our team. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to details and familiarity with medical terminology. We are looking for someone who is friendly and works well in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting patients, answering phones, updating patient demographics and scheduling appointments
  • Escorting patients to the examination rooms and tidying up rooms
  • Preparing rooms for a different kind of exams: biopsy, pap test, ear syringe and more
  • Scanning, faxing, linking documents

Qualifications:

  • A team player capable of interaction professionally with staff and physicians
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work as a team effectively and efficiently in a fast paced clinic

Requirements:

  • MOA Certificate
  • 1 year of previous experience as a medical office assistant with Oscar EMR
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast–paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care

Hourly salary: $19.00 to $23.00 /hour (negotiable)

Start date: ASAP
