**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Yúustway Health and Wellness Department. Reporting to the Manager Primary Care, the Medical Office Assistant (MOA) provides medical and administrative support to the Primary Care team, supporting the successful operation of the clinic. The incumbent is responsible for patient medical files and collection of personal and health-related patient information, scheduling patients, prepares paperwork for patient appointments, enters into the system, and follows-up as required. Processes patients’ documents, laboratory tests, etc, files result accordingly in patients’ files, and alerts relevant providers. Responsible for ensuring patient files are kept up to date for easy retrieval. Arranges for patients’ scheduled tests, consultations, and referrals and follows-up with external specialists and consultations to ensure patient needs are being met and our providers are kept informed. Protects patients’ files ensuring confidentiality of client's personal information. The position uses superior technical knowledge to track patient data and streamline office proficiency. The incumbent will work out of the Squamish Valley health clinic and, on occasion, the MOA may be required to travel to the North Vancouver Clinic to provide MOA coverage as needed. The incumbent will be vital to the new Squamish Valley clinic setup, inclusive of managing patient intakes and waitlist, and will be supporting the North Shore Clinic (in person and virtually) until the Squamish Valley Clinic is open for full-time hours.

***Salary**: $ 59,373 - $ 66,223 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
