You are a resourceful problem-solver who can work independently and has a strong understanding of accounting standards.

**On a day-to-day basis the Accounting Clerk will...**
- Support in building and developing the accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
- Maintain and update financial records.
- Prepare month-beginning and month-end invoices.
- Process business transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, using QuickBooks Online.
- Handle disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in daily accounting functions.

**Skills required**:

- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software (Ideally QuickBooks Online)
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently
- Proficient data entry and word processing skills
- Highly organized and able to manage tasks effectively

**Bonus points for**
- An Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Experience working on a Mac
- Experience working in a marketing agency
- Experience organizing company events (both virtual and in-person)
