Bowness Animal Hospital is currently recruiting for a dependable and confident Part time Reception/Assistant to join our clinic. If you would like the opportunity to fully utilize your skills in a supportive environment then look no further You must be organized and efficient with the ability to multi-task, and have a genuine interest in working with people and their animals.

**Requirements**:

- One year of assistant or reception experience in Veterinary medicine is REQUIRED**

**-Drivers license is preferred**

**Key responsibilities and attributes are**:

- Receive telephone calls
- Book appointments
- Generate invoices
- Process payments
- Create and maintain client files
- Animal care
- Animal restraint
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and clients
- Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
- Exceptional client service skills
- Compassion and nurturing attitude
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to adapt in changing situations
- Efficient in carrying out assignments independently
- Take initiative to complete tasks throughout the day
