**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. A background in laboratory procedures is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to assist with various tasks within the clinic.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
- Provide information on pet health care products and services offered by the clinic.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in veterinary field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
