**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Builds brand awareness, using Reitmans’ voice and positive brand experience through an active brand ambassador network;
- Devise strategies to bring our social media platforms to the next level, accelerate content video production alongside the Content Supervisor
- Develops a communication and social activity calendar and creates social events/activities in support of operational, regional and/or merchandising objectives;
- Manages and grows Reitmans’ presence and fan base on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter and other relevant social media channels, implements strategy and maintains on a daily basis;
- Working with the Content/Public relations supervisor to establish communications and relationships with influencers, develops partnerships with social media platforms, explores new platforms and ensures new social/share opportunities;
- Writes, manages, adapts, gathers materials for social media channels and posts original content that supports the social media efforts;
- Working with the Content Supervisor, interprets analytics and uses them to develop a social strategy and to offer nuanced feedback beyond likes or follows.

**Competencies**:

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications or equivalent;
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in social media ;
- Demonstrated and measurable success with social media platforms, and other emerging tools;
- Experience using web analytics and creating reports;
- Bilingualism.
