To support our growth, we are looking for a **Regional Sales Manager. **You will help support all sales activities primarily in Ontario, with occasional need to support other provinces.
You will work out of your home office with frequent day travel throughout the West GTA and South-Western Ontario. You are ideally located somewhere in the area spanning Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton, and Mississauga.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring sales growth by developing existing accounts and inbound sales leads
- Develop a solid and trusting relationship between clients and Piab
- Resolving client issues and complaints
- Anticipating account changes and improvements
- Managing communications between clients and internal teams
- Strategic planning to improve client results
- Negotiating contracts with clients and establishing a timeline of performance
In this role, you are required to act according to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission and routines. This role require travel to both Piab and external parties’ global destinations when applicable.
**Skills and abilities**
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently out of a home-based office
- Experience in using CRM system (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience with tradeshows and conferences
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
- Demonstrated success using social media (LinkedIn) to generate net-new leads
- General understanding of manufacturing and logistic processes preferred
- Excellent presentation and sales skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize and time management skills
- Competitive with a team-winning attitude

**Experience and educational background**
- **Must have experience within manufacturing, industrial automation and/or cap-ex equipment sales**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or relevant field

**Travel**
- Frequent day travel to customers throughout the west GTA and south-western Ontario
- Occasional trips to our office in Richmond Hill as required
