Job Overview:
Responsible for leading and facilitating the development and implementation of effective human resource practices at multiple plants to secure and maintain a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, to achieve the required operational results, through effective management and execution of Human Resources policies, programs and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the development of new processes, procedures and policies within Give & Go, to ensure compliance and implementation of new standards across all locations that are aligned with the HR strategy
- Lead, coach and develop direct reports (HRBPs) including providing feedback and conducting formal evaluations to ensure having the right resource skills, competencies and expertise to meet department and agreed upon business objectives of the company
- Provide counsel to department managers and Human Resources Business Partners regarding company policy, performance management and discipline, internal audits, recruitment, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Continuously improve the HR Discipline
- Ensure that employees work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and company’s health and safety program
- Provide an example for others by always directing and performing work in a safe manner; Follow company’s health and safety policy and procedures
- Recruit, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positions within the locations you oversee

Recipe for Success:

- Completion of college diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) / CHRL designation an asset
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills to build relationships and work through people
- Must have sound knowledge of Canadian legislation and organizational practices to develop appropriate/proactive Human Resources interventions (Human Rights policies, Employment Standard Act, and other applicable legislation)
- Must have strong skills with HRIS and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Must have strong judgement, problem solving, decision making, and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and manage change
- Must possess strong knowledge of the ESA, OHRC, and other human rights standards and programs

**Salary**: $60,283.00-$113,443.00 per year

**Education**:

- Human resources: 5 years (required)
- Manufacturing industry/ CPG: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CHRP (preferred)
- CHRL (preferred)
