Logistics Assistant

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Utilize AS400 systems for tracking inventory and processing orders efficiently.
- Support demand planning activities by analyzing inventory levels and forecasting needs.
- Coordinate with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers to optimize shipping processes.
- Monitor order fulfillment processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
- Conduct regular assessments of warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze profit loss reports to assist in making informed logístical decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline logistics procedures and enhance overall efficiency.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS400 systems or similar logistics software is a plus.
- Knowledge of supplier management practices and NVOCC/3PL operations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to demand planning and order fulfillment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.32 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
