As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will participate in the development and execution of Castello brand marketing, trade marketing strategies and programs, as well as providing market analysis to enhance Arla Foods’ brand share and positioning.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Castello Senior Brand Manager, you will:

- Take a lead role in project management, and the day-to-day management for key executional elements of all brand campaigns including Media, Creative, Sampling, Shopper, PR
- Build and develop clear communication externally (with all agency partners) that give focused direction to develop programs that deliver against brand plans
- Work cross functionally to build relationships with the customer team while supporting both the Senior Brand Manager, and Customer Business Managers to implement projects and brand strategies
- Analyze business results to ensure strategies and programs are effective and KPI objectives are being attained
- Create and update all data/sell sheets and maintain the asset library for the Castello brand
- Support product development process by assisting in packaging creative development, and take a lead role in supporting the Senior Brand Manager to build both internal and external sell-in materials
- Support Castello Senior Brand Manager with budget management and tracking
- Work with Senior Brand Managers to assist in the development of the annual brand marketing plans
- Together with the Insights Manager, Senior Brand Manager and Marketing Director, provide additional review of market data and provide relevant insights, observations and recommendations to the Marketing team for future opportunities
- Develop actionable insights across the Castello portfolio using the Nielsen database and internal dashboarding, focusing on product assortment, and retail and category insights
- Create scorecards and dashboarding tools to provide ongoing reporting and analysis
- With direction from the Marketing Director, work with promotional development agencies to maintain/enhance Arla Canada Websites, calendars, and recipes

**Who are you?**

You will have a one years’ experience in Brand Management within a Tier 1 CPG environment. You will also have experience developing and executing marketing programs, brief writing, and with overall P&L management. You will have a post secondary degree or diploma in a business, marketing or equivalent field.

With excellent interpersonal skills and experience working across cross-functional teams, you will utilize your strong strategic and analytic thinking skills to utilize data to support business decisions. Experience with the Nielsen Database is required. With strong communication skills and high attention to detail and an action-oriented mindset, you will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment utilizing organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
