**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve service efficiency
- Serve as a leader during busy service hours, maintaining a positive team environment
- Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards
**Skills**
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with restaurant management, including inventory control and staff supervision
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, menu development, and culinary techniques
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
