**WHAT**
**WILL I BE DOING?**
- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with Business Unit to identify operational needs as they relate to HR services; Develops a deep understanding of the operation to effectively influence decision making as it pertains to HR matters including workforce planning, conflict resolution, talent and performance matters.
- Handles highly sensitive and confidential employee relations issues including workplace investigations, workplace conflict, discipline, absence management and performance matters
- Lead and/or participate in the development and execution of various components of the People Strategy to enhance the employee experience; Collaborates with Employee Services, Recruiting, Compensation to support implementation processes, policies; provides insights on improvement opportunities and shares internal and external leading practices.
- Manages all employee data /records in HRIS from Hire to Termination (Human Capital Management functions)

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- University Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or College Diploma in HR, Business or related field required HR designation (CHRP/CHRL) or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Human Resources required including experience dealing with a variety of employee relations issues.
- Sound knowledge of employee-related legislation (Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act) required
- Previous experience in Workday Human Capital Management preferred
- Previous experience/education in Adult Learning preferred
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where
