- Conduct keyword research and integrate target keywords naturally into content.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with brand goals.
- Use SEO best practices (keyword research, meta tags, headings) to improve organic search visibility.
- Optimize content for AI Overviews by using structured formatting, concise answers, and relevant search terms.
- Optimize content for readability, user engagement, and search engine performance.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Stay updated with content trends, AI search developments, and Google algorithm updates.
- Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, or SEMrush to refine strategies.

**Note**: Roles are not limited to the tasks listed above. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the team.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role.
- Familiarity with **SEO writing techniques** and tools (e.g., SurferSEO, Clearscope, SEMrush).
- Understanding of how **Google AI Overviews** select and display content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt tone and style to match different brands and audiences.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to write for different audiences and tones.
- Experience with content performance analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of link-building strategies and content promotion.
- Experience in industries such as trucking, or B2B marketing is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $17.20-$22.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Work Location: In person
