**Position Overview**:
Are you a passionate writer looking to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for a Content Writer to join our design team and enrich our messaging with new marketing and educational copy.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract clients, boost brand awareness, and educate the public.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts
- Proofread and edit content before publication
- Submit work to Creative Director for input and approval
- Coordinate with design team and the Creative Director to illustrate content
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Create written content for social media
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone with the aide of the Leadership team)
- Update website content as needed

**Required Experience**:

- Must demonstrate 2-3 years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- OR BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field

**Required Skills**:

- Strong writing skills with a robust portfolio showcasing your creativity and proficiency/portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Capacity to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail while ensuring high standards of accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions provided by the leadership team.
- Encourage continuous improvement by identifying needs and suggesting ways of resolving them.

**Location, Commitments & Benefits**:

- The permanent full-time position is at our company headquarters in Mississauga, ON.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
