The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction, mining, and environmental services within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking the expertise of a **Training Systems Specialist **to join our team from our head office based in **Bedford, NS**.

**Job Summary**:
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain reports and processes to support training department, and corporate initiatives
- Develop and maintain digital forms in the LMS
- Assist with various training department initiatives and programs
- Support the publication of online training content
- Work with various companies and divisions to implement the LMS
- Provide support to various personnel accessing the LMS
- Administrative duties as assigned

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience**:

- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formulas) and Microsoft Word
- Intermediate skills in data preparation and analysis
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Work creatively to find solutions and streamline processes
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, VBA/Macros, or other scripting/programming experience is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 components such as Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, PowerApps, and SharePoint is considered an asset
- Experience with Learning Management Systems & SCORM Technology is considered an asset
- Experience with process documentation is considered an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Adaptable to changing environments
