**What you do**:
As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for data-entry for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This role works closely with the Payroll & Accounting Administrator and the Senior Financial Analyst to ensure the AP and AR processes run smoothly and that data is accurate for financial reporting.

In this role, you will be expected to:

- Accounts Payables (AP)
- Entering accounts payable invoice details into the accounting system for internal approvals.
- Processing bi-weekly payments to vendors via cheque, wire, and EFT.
- Setting up and maintaining vendor records (i.e., contact and banking information, address changes, etc.).
- Accounts Receivables (AR):

- Entering accounts receivable invoice details to accounting system for monthly billings to franchisees and other cost recoveries.
- Preparing daily cash sheets to record cash deposits received from customers.
- Preparing monthly/weekly EFTs to withdraw payments from franchisees on royalties and other recoveries.
- Responding to general inquiries from AP vendors and internal contacts on payment status and invoicing issues.

**Who you are**:

- You have up to 1 year of experience in accounts payable/receivable, or data entry
- You may have a diploma or equivalent in accounting.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You take initiative and perform well independently, but you are also a team player
- You have the ability to cope effectively during extremely busy periods, whilst paying attention to detail and deadlines
- You have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- You have experience with AccPac and/or Sage, or similar technology
