**Position Overview**

Join our team as an Accountant in our Cannabis division, with a focus on accounts payable and process improvement We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to help integrate our two Cannabis production companies. This role will ensure a consistent and efficient accounting process across both entities. This position is based in a Cannabis production facility, so you must be comfortable in this unique environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform software data entries accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct statement reconciliations and cheque runs.
- Handle invoice reconciliations and Visa credit card reconciliations.
- Confirm vendor details and manage files and documents meticulously.
- Prepare and process expense reports.
- Ensure inventory ties are accurate and conduct weekly payment processing.
- Assist in streamlining and integrating accounting processes across the two Cannabis production companies.
- Understand the importance and functionality of Accounts Payables and their impact on other processes.
- Proactively connect dots, adopt new technologies, and chase required information when necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Education or equivalent experience in accounting is essential.
- Strong decision-making, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Experience working in or understanding of Cannabis production environments is an asset.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Fluency in English required.

**Considerations**

**Work Schedule**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Regular office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
