**Job Title**:Accounting Clerk

**Job Status**:Permanent - Full Time (32 to 40 hours)

**Signing Bonus**:$500 ($200 on joining + $300 after completing probation)

**Start Wage**:$24.50 per hour plus comprehensive benefits package after 6 months

**Summary of Position**:
The Accounting Clerk will work with all departments to ensure all purchases and account payables are processed in a timely manner in accordance with payment schedules.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily Cash reconciliation
- Reconciles daily cash posting with Property Management System and Point of Sales Systems
- Monitors and receives all purchase order requests
- Monthly Accounts Payable duties includes keeping accurate records of all invoices and matches them to the purchase orders
- Assists with month end reports or other Accounting reports
- Assists in daily labor reporting and Accounts receivables when necessary
- Reconciles all Night Audit transactions weekly
- Any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Financial Controller

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of two years’ work experience or 2nd level Accounting education at an Accredited Business School and strong understanding of Night Audit procedures
- Previous experience of Opera PMS, Microsoft Office and POS systems an asset
- Cash handling experience is a requirement
- Must be detail oriented along with effective organizational skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve
