**Responsibilities**:
**Qualifications**:

- Education:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline and/or a Degree/Diploma as an allied health professional
- Current certificate of registration from a college recognized under the Regulated Health Professionals Act is preferred
- Experience:
- 5 years’ experience coordinating clinical studies/trials including study start-up, initiation, and monitoring; preferably in an academic/research or biomedical industry environment
- Experience managing and monitoring research budgets
- Experience with phlebotomy and IV
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of techniques for planning, managing and coordinating projects, with competing priorities that involve a variety of stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial principles and budgeting with the ability to ensure expenditures and resources are within allotments, and to make appropriate modifications when required
- Knowledge of the regulations and guidelines governing research ethics in an academic environment and of best practices for reviewing and writing grant proposals
- Knowledge of International Conference on Harmonization-Good Clinical Practice (ICH/GCP) guidelines
- Ability to ensure confidentiality and privacy is maintained through the appropriate retention and destruction of information
- A desire to grow and advance skills, which is demonstrated by attending conferences and other professional development opportunities
- Computer skills with the ability to learn and use relevant software that achieves required outcomes and is in line with best practices
- Ability to delegate work and provide team members with clear direction and support in meeting their objectives
