**Some of what you will do**:
The Wide Format Print Manager is accountable for the day-to-day production operations within a Copy & Print closed door production centre. They plan, schedule, and oversee all production activities that drive volume & profit performance. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to deliver all orders “Done right & On time” by maximizing efficiencies throughout the production workflow. Ensures the management of the attraction, onboarding and retention of associates. Evaluates, coaches, and provides high quality instruction to direct reports and leads the development of a culture of ongoing performance growth and development for all associates in the business. Build strong relationships with all business channels that drive volume into the production centre.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Coordinate workflow for multiple machine in the same or different facilities.
- Maintain and safely use all large format finishing tools and equipment provided for trimming, cutting, and packaging.
- Maintain machine logs and adjust as needed; inform manager of equipment problems and place service calls when required, complete daily preventative maintenance for ensured maximum uptime.
- Promotes a productive work environment through effective utilization of resources.
- Provides direction and promotes uniform workflow processes throughout all work shifts and with all associates.
- Coordinates and manages effective supplies inventory processes to maximize capability and minimize costs.
- Ensures the proper and accurate shipping and receiving of print jobs to and from spoke stores.
- Ensures associates check and understand all sources of communication for information (white boards, bulletin boards, portal, etc).Promotes and maintains a safe working environment and follows all company protocols for safety and is required to report any unsafe working conditions to a manager.

**Some of what you need**:

- College/Technical school Diploma or relative experience in Printing is preferred.
- Listens and understands information, presents information in a clear manner, uses standard trade terms and work-related terminology.
- Ability to set up and operate a large format flatbed printer.
- Experience with large format flatbed printers and finishing equipment.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees in the organization.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed to meet deadlines.
- 5+ years industry experience in Large Format Digital Printing and Finishing.
- Basic colour theory (models and space), calibration procedures, colour profiles, colour gamut of devices, and colour management devices.Knowledge of internal and external network environment, operating systems, file types and extensions, software and hardware components of a prepress operation, file transfer (FTP, HTTP) protocols.
