Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Large Format Colour Printing role located in Mississauga, ON. The individual in this role will be responsible for operating large-format printers, ensuring high-quality output of print projects, and troubleshooting any issues. Core duties include preparing files for print, performing routine maintenance on printing equipment, finishing, conducting quality control checks, and collaborating closely with the production, design, and sales teams to ensure client satisfaction. The role requires maintaining equipment efficiency, meeting project deadlines, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience with large-format printing equipment, file preparation, and quality control processes
  • Proficiency in design-related software tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
  • Strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance capabilities
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand client requirements
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance in printing and production environments
  • Previous experience in large-format printing or a similar industry is considered an asset
  • Physical capability to manage tasks involving standing, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods
