Seeking a responsible hands-on CPA, to lead our Accounting Team and oversee all the day-to-day finance activities ensuring effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations of the department

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide general accounting and bookkeeping
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Month and year-end closing
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoices and payments
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
- Manage the Accounting Team including approving time off, cross-training and ensuring that departmental work gets done correctly and on time

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- CPA required
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in an accounting role, preferably in a Team Lead or managerial role
- Must be competent with MS Office, Excel, databases, and accounting software
- Insurance Brokerage background and Power Broker an asset.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files
