**_ The Human Resources Assistant will have a variety of clerical and administrative responsibilities but is ultimately responsible for providing exceptional World Class Service and Experiences to our people._**
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Operate as the lead on our COVID19 Illness and Exposure Reporting tool on our company communication platform, providing isolation direction to employees who are ill or exposed.
- Responsible for entering a wide range of data into various HR systems (ADP, SMS, IA, QT9, etc).
- Responsible for maintaining HR filing system, photocopying, documentation and preparing packages for on-boarding process and entering into ADP system.
- Ensuring the accuracy of documentation and employee files.
- Administer the Safety Eye Glasses, Sonomax and Safety Boot program and system is kept up to date.
- Operate as backup for reception.
- Provide team members with assistance and support as needed - answering questions, directing to appropriate people or resources.
- Maintain the employee lockers, gym memberships, and uniform program.
- Assist with Employee Events - help plan employee activities, functions and meetings including Family Day and the Annual Christmas party.
- Collecting employee photos, creating employee badges and security cards.
- Assist on other HR projects and functions as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity for all H.R. related matters.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional accuracy/attention to detail and ability to catch and rectify mistakes.
- Flexible work hours Monday to Friday during core hours.
- Must be flexible and willing to work extra hours if required, specifically checking COVID19 reporting once each Saturday and Sunday.
- Must have a clean performance and attendance record.
- Experience with Client / Customer Service would be an asset.
- A “can do” service attitude while maintaining tact, discretion, sensitivity, and diplomacy.
- University or College level education in human resources would be an asset.
