Event Coordinator/ Corporate Sales Rep

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Collaborate with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning including venue selection, catering, décor, and entertainment.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best services at competitive prices.
- Manage on-site logistics during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors throughout the planning process.
- Maintain organized records of event details, contracts, and communications.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in event coordination or a related field such as hospitality or restaurant management is a must.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and service providers.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to promote events is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
