About Us:

National Event Venue is a premier theatre-style banquet hall in North York with state-of-the-art AV, flexible multicultural menus, and capacity for up to 800 guests. We host weddings, corporate events, galas, and private functions. With strong Sunday revenue already secured, we're now focused on filling Monday–Saturday dates and are investing in marketing to grow rapidly.

The Role:

We are seeking a polished, professional, and outgoing Event Sales Manager to drive new bookings. You will be the face of the venue—conducting site tours, responding to inquiries, closing deals, and building relationships with clients and planners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional site tours and virtual walkthroughs for prospective clients
  • Respond promptly to leads from website, ads, Google, and partner agencies
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and contracts
  • Build and maintain relationships with wedding planners, corporate clients, and event organizers
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives (social media, ads, partnerships)
  • Track leads and bookings using simple CRM tools
  • Upsell AV, décor, and catering options to maximize revenue

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in event/hospitality sales (banquet hall, hotel, venue, or catering preferred)
  • Proven track record of closing sales and hitting targets
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with a polished, professional demeanour
  • Confident building relationships with diverse upscale clients
  • Smart Serve certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Flexible schedule—must be available for evening and weekend site tours
  • Own vehicle an asset
