**THE OPPORTUNITY**

TMF Foods - Lou's Kitchen Ltd. is looking for a talented and passionate individual - one who can combine the knack for numbers and spreadsheets and who enjoys the satisfaction of getting the job done well and on time - to join our team as an **Accounts Receivable Analyst **at our Stoney Creek facility.

The primary role of the **Accounts Receivable Analyst** is to ensure the company receives payments for goods and services and correctly records these transactions.

**This position is on site Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm daily**

**Key Responsibilities**
- All accounts receivable functions including credits, bill back processing, deposits, bank reconciliation, etc.
- Oversee collections, including analyzing results
- Enter new rebate plans into the ERP system (Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- Review and assess the accuracy of amounts owing and prepare documentation to support sign-off of customer payments and deductions
- Contact customers to resolve issues related to incorrect deductions, secure repayment for over-deductions, and address unpaid accounts
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts and ensure liabilities are properly reflected on the balance sheet; escalate concerns to relevant departments as needed
- Prepare ad hoc internal reports to Finance and Sales
- Provide backup to accounts payable
- Perform other general accounting duties as required
- Actively participate in projects and process improvement, offering input and recommendations
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and objectives, prioritizing and delivering results in a timely manner
- Proactively identify potential A/R concerns and address them promptly
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team or work independently as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- A degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business administration or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Excel including use of pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.
- Strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan and organize
- High energy self-starter who is performance driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Must be self-motived and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management

Pay: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
