Accounting Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and databases.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation and account analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in PBS DMS accounting software is preferred
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial services.
- Excellent math skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in an accounting role is required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
