**Job Summary**:
Reporting directly to the CEO, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate the Purchasing, Scheduling, Inventory, Fabrication, and Warehouse teams. The company is adopting a Just-In-Time Delivery approach, and this role will be critical in guiding this mindset throughout the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, enhance, and own operational processes from order entry to delivery on site,
- Lead the utilization of ERP software to align with operational processes,
- Support sales and project managers to plan and forecast needs for their projects/jobs,
- Manage production schedule and fabrication team,
- Build strong relationships with vendors and other stakeholders,
- Increase annual inventory turns through Just-In-Time Delivery,
- Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs for reporting to leadership on operational performance,
- Lead weekly meetings with operations team and other stakeholders as required,
- Create, modify, and analyze purchasing and inventory related reports,
- Assist in managing slow moving/deadstock inventory, working with appropriate stakeholders on opportunities to reduce inventory and maximize recovery cost,
- Work with team to optimize facility layout and flow,
- Recruit, hire, and train employees
**Must Haves**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
- Four or more years of operations leadership experience, preferably in a fabrication/manufacturing setting,
- Continuous improvement mindset,
- Strong ERP knowledge. Implementation of ERP software would be considered an asset,
- Knowledge of overseas procurement. Ability to travel overseas annually to meet with trade partners,
- Demonstrated ability to act with tact and discretion when dealing with internal and external personnel,
- Lean or Six-Sigma knowledge would be considered an asset

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
