ITN Food Corporation, a leading food manufacturing, importing, and distribution company operating across Canada, is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager (Sales & Logistics) to lead its sales office operations. Based in Woodbridge, ON, this role involves overseeing the end-to-end coordination and processing of sales orders, from receipt (generated by the sales team) through consolidation, fulfillment, and seamless collaboration with warehouse, production, internal logistics, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, to ensure timely delivery to customers. Additional responsibilities include invoicing, daily management reporting, and directing a team of Operations Coordinators while partnering closely with sales, finance, warehouse, and production teams. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to optimize operations (Sales & Logistics Coordination), including order processing and logistics coordination, while collaborating across departments to deliver high-quality South Asian products efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview: As an Operations Manager (Sales & Logistics), you will drive operational efficiency by hands-on managing sales order processing, coordinating fulfillment and deliveries, supervising administrative support, optimizing sales-related logistics and supply chain processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This full-time, permanent position involves team leadership, risk mitigation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, making it ideal for someone eager to excel in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Operations Oversight: Manage sales office operations to efficiently coordinate and process sales orders from the point of receipt (generated by sales) to consolidation, processing and coordination with warehouse and production , internal logistics, and 3PL providers to deliver to customers. This includes invoicing, daily management reporting, receiving and processing sales orders from the sales team via Spire ERP, Pepperi sales order app, email, phone, and other channels, ensuring seamless flow to production and delivery while reviewing forecasts, generating operational plans, analyzing sales data for insights, conducting order planning, performing invoicing, and actively scheduling tasks.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and develop a team of operations coordinators focused on accurate order entry, error-free and timely ,efficient invoicing, administrative tasks, merchandising and maintenance of retail office areas, customer correspondence, front desk operations, data entry, document organization, and logistics coordination to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordination & Logistics: Collaborate hands-on with production, warehouse, drivers, sales staff, and management to confirm product availability, coordinate order preparation , schedule drivers, plan routes, track deliveries in real-time, and dispatch to the company's customers across Ontario and Montreal using the company owned and third party logistics arrangements; manage inventory levels and implement quality control measures.
  • Payment & Reporting: Track customer payments (e.g., via bank cheques), update the finance department, conduct daily morning meetings with management to review order status, and resolve any issues related to product availability and dispatches.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize sales operations coordination and logistics performance, mitigate risks, develop and maintain SOPs for inventory management, supply chain processes, order fulfillment, and administrative coordination; develop strategies for continuous improvement and long-term planning.
  • Growth & Relationships: Pursue growth opportunities in line with company strategy, meet profit goals, establish and maintain relationships with customers and vendors, and provide feedback on market trends.
  • Compliance & Development: Ensure team adherence to company policies, food safety standards, and regulations; coach staff on ERP and CRM systems, problem-solving, and customer service; oversee staff training, recruitment, and goal-setting to achieve objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in Operations Management (Sales & Logistics, Order Processing) within the food or related industries, including supervisory oversight of coordinators or administrative staff. Preference for candidates with experience in fast-paced, high-volume distribution environments. Demonstrated success in sales order processing, metrics-driven optimization, and hands-on management of order planning, invoicing, scheduling, and team supervision.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of operations, supply chain and logistics principles and ERP systems (e.g., Spire, Oracle, or SAGE300). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with especially strong expertise in MS Excel at an advanced level. Familiarity with POS systems, CRM tools, and warehouse management software is a valuable asset.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail; strong communication, planning, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset; thrives in dynamic, team-based settings; proven ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate teams effectively.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Punjabi, Hindi, or Urdu is an asset.
