**Job Overview**:
As the company is audited for SOC I, SOC II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701, the Coordinator is expected to ensure that systems are set up and operate in a compliant manner, and that they would be attending and responding to auditors by providing necessary evidence.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
**IT and Network Administration**
- Work closely with departmental managers to determine future network needs and plan for network changes.
- Develop methods and tools to be used to test and implement new LAN/WAN equipment
- Create projects that are designed to either add functionality required by the company or to address ongoing network failure issues.
- Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Analyze the current network structure and submit quarterly comprehensive reports to executive team on how to make the network more efficient.
- Ensure the implementation of protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects.
- Assist in the IT-part of onboarding of all new hires, locally and provide remote assistance to new users worldwide
- Support with trouble shooting to diagnose and resolve network and desktop issues
- Research, design, and implement the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity
- Provide technical support and training for various systems and networks including internal and external clients
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Telecom updates and maintenance and new user set up
- Responsible for maintenance and backup of internal development servers, maintaining telecommunication and web systems
- Collaborate with other professionals and subcontractors to maintain functionality standards
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Monitor or optimize the performance, security, backup, and recovery of the database
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT related projects
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders and maintain inventory of internal licenses and track compliance
- Evaluate new hardware and software to meet company requirements
- Establish procedures to ensure the readiness, quality, and accuracy of websites and online platforms, providing guidance and training to staff
- Develop policies and procedures concerning the database: data entry and sharing information with others
- Provide technical advice and assistance to office staff as needed (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance etc.)
- Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization
- Create status reports as required
- Plan end-user training as required

**Network and Cyber Security**
- Coordinate the continuous development, implementation and updating of security and privacy policies, standards, guidelines, baselines, processes and procedures in compliance with local, provincial and federal regulations
- Develop and manage the frameworks, processes, tools and consultancy necessary for IT to properly manage risk and to make risk-based decisions related to IT activities.
- Manage any potential attacks or intrusions that may occur during this time period to make sure the client's information isn't compromised.
- Guard all company data, particularly sensitive data, from both internal and external threats by designing broad defenses against would-be intruders
- Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop new protocols, layers of protection, and other both proactive and defensive systems that stay one step ahead of cyber criminals
- Maintain security guidelines, procedures, standards and controls documentation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current cybercrime tactics
- Constantly monitor for attack and run appropriate defensive protocols if breaches occur
- Conduct vulnerability testing to identify weaknesses and collaborate with cybersecurity team to update defensive protocols as necessary
- Configure anti-virus systems, firewalls, data centers and software updates with a security-first mindset
- Grant credentials to authorized users, monitor access-related activities and check for unregistered information changes
- Assist with the audits and facilitate management response and remediation efforts. Ensure overall IT compliance with regulatory requirements through proactive planning and communication, ownership and relationships.
- Proactive identification and mitigation of IT risks as well as responding to observations identified by third party auditors or examiners while assisting in the development of periodic reports and dashboards presenting the level of controls compliance and current IT risk posture
