Security Administrator

Agricorp is looking for a **Security Administrator** to join the Network and Infrastructure Services (NIS) team in our Information Technology division. Agricorp’s Information Technology division provides a fully integrated technical environment that supports and enhances the delivery of our agricultural programs and services.

**The Role**:
The Security Administrator plans, implements and maintains low to medium complex aspects of the security infrastructure relating to network operations. The role provides support to other network services working within the designed security parameters. In this role, you will:

- Be responsible for broad routine security support results within the network systems and servers by ensuring the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information assets across Agricorp
- Assist in the maintenance of existing security infrastructure, including software upgrades, patch management and troubleshooting
- Administer security access control
- Assist in special projects to improve security
- Work with the Security Specialist to help anticipate security needs for all users and recommends solutions
- Resolves low to medium complex inquiries or requests from internal/external parties
- Conduct needs assessment and option analysis for Senior Manager and Security Specialist related to technical security purchase
- Identify potential security risk areas proactively
- Subject matter expert for NIS regarding security related matters and providing continuous guidance

Job status: Permanent

**Salary**: $58,975 - $69,383
Work status: Full time in office with potential for remote work arrangement
Location: Must live in Ontario to perform this role

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in a related information technology field or equivalent experience (IT Security an asset)
- Previous experience with end desktops, servers and networked computing environments required
- 3 - 5 years in progressively complex IT security experience an asset
- Knowledge of using various antivirus, endpoint detection and response, Security Incident Enterprise management tool an asset
- Certification in Security+ an asset
