Accounts Receivable Clerk

Calgary, Canada PARTS FOR TRUCKS Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments and from customers
- Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history and credit line
- Coordinate contact with other collections department personnel
- Monitor customer account details for nonpayment, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Follow up, collection and allocation of payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve customer queries
- Protect value by keeping information confidential
- Assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives
- Actively pursue EFT payments with customers
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor not far outside my expertise and training

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of accounts receivable
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures
- 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience is an asset
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
- Excellent proactive communicator
