Our client, a BC-based company, specializes in manufacturing and distributing a wide range of industrial systems and components. They pride themselves on providing high-quality, performance-proven products to meet machinery performance needs in both industrial and mobile markets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Make informed purchasing selections to meet company needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in daily administrative tasks within the purchasing department.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Create and manage purchase planning schedules to optimize inventory levels and purchasing efficiency.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, protect company margins, and make cost-effective buying decisions.
- Utilize the SAP system for purchasing management and reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on purchasing strategies and requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, administration, office management, or customer relations.
- Proven experience in a customer service or relations role, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable discussing financial matters and negotiating to achieve the best outcomes for the company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP or similar systems is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- Competitive base salary of $55,000 - $70,000.
- Comprehensive benefits package.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
