**What you will do**:
The Project Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the Director of Projects, Senior Project Manager and Project Manager(s) to ensure the successful execution of projects in alignment with TESC’s and our clients’ standards, policies, and objectives.

This position is responsible for coordinating key aspects of project planning, documentation, logistics, and communication throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role requires adaptability and a proactive approach, with responsibilities carried out both at the TESC office and on-site at various construction locations, including local and remote project sites, as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Project Manager(s) with planning, execution, and closeout activities for multiple projects.
- Maintain continuous communication with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
- Coordinate material and equipment tracking and assist with procurement processes including preparation of purchase order requisitions (PORs).
- Monitor and assist in tracking project progress, labour hours, costs, and quantities.
- Participate in identifying out-of-scope work and support the preparation of change order documentation.
- Assist with coordinating site logistics, mobilizations, and demobilizations, including travel and accommodations for remote jobs.
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, file structures, and control logs (e.g., RFIs, submittals, drawings).
- Support timely and accurate reporting, including progress updates, safety records, and cost summaries.
- Coordinate the review and submission of shop drawings, vendor documents, and other project deliverables.
- Promote and support TESC’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all project locations.
- Assist in tracking safety documentation and reporting, and support quality control procedures as required.
- Support estimating efforts when needed by gathering supplier quotes, completing takeoffs, or preparing documentation for bid submissions under the direction of an estimator or project manager.
- Actively participate in process improvements across project coordination functions.
- Assist in onboarding and supporting new team members or student interns.

**Job Specifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in construction, engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; industrial construction experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Financial awareness and ability to support cost tracking and forecasting.
- Adaptable and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Solutions-focused, collaborative, and capable of working independently.
- Positive attitude toward safety and team success.
- Must be willing and able to travel to various project locations, including remote sites.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends based on project needs.
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License and clean driving record.
