Change Manager

The opportunity

Depending on the size and level of complexity of the change initiative, there may be a Change Lead assigned, providing guidance and oversight to the Change Manager.

Who you'll work with

This position is an individual contributor role reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Organizational Change Management. The Change Manager will also work closely with Project Leads/Managers, and Stakeholders as well as their direct team members which include other Change Managers and Change Specialists.

What you'll do
- Create actionable Change Management deliverables, including Change Strategy and Plans, Communications plan, Training plan, and Sustainability plan in support of the objectives of the business initiatives.
- Help to define and understand how work may change, impacts on stakeholders and barriers that must be overcome (including any behavioral shifts required)
- Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plan
- Provide advice and guidance to business partners regarding best practices in organizational change management to assist with discussions and decision-making.
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness throughout the project
- Develop an effective communication plan to ensure impacted stakeholders group at all levels are clearly addressed of the changes and associated impacts in all aspects
- Develop key messages and communications
- Work with business partners to measure change activities and their outcomes
- Help build Change Management practices and capability within Advisory Services Team
- Identify lessons learned (successes and challenges) on projects/initiatives and recommend improvements to the OTPP change methodology

What you'll need
- Minimum 4 years leading organizational change management on medium scale or supporting complex initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
- Investment industry and/or capital markets experience an asset
- A relevant university degree
- Change Management professional certification or designation
- A Designation or accreditation in one of the following: Lean Process Improvement, Project management, Business Analysis, Agile, Facilitation skills, Coaching skills would be an asset
- Strong knowledge in Change Management principles and methodology
- Understanding of Project Management, Process Improvement, Business Analysis, Software Development (Agile) methodologies
- Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
