**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to improve cooking techniques and knowledge of food handling.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about the food industry is essential.

Pay: $16.79-$18.49 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
