**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and guidelines to create high-quality meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly stored.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
- Support the head chef in menu planning and development as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals.
