Office Administrative Assistant

**Job description**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, and filing, faxing and copying
- Answer phone calls and direct them accordingly
- Type Correspondences, reports and other documents
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments & travel arrangements as well as take minutes at any meetings
- Greet and assist visitors
- Complete waybills, BOL and schedule shipments
- Follow up on AR collection
- Review Purchase orders and complete any missing fields
- Conduct Sales Calls
- Generate weekly report on marketing and sales update
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective customers
- Identify and research innovative and new marketing and sales techniques
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
- Other duties as required
Job Specifications:
- High School Diploma required
- University degree in Business Administration preferred
- Excellent Understanding and Experience with MS Office and Computer skills
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks
- French speaking skills is an asset
- Strong understanding of Customer and Market Dynamics and Requirements
- Excellent Organizational & Excellent Time Management skills
- This is a fast pace role so a Quick Learner is preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON L6T 4Z7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 3 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- French (preferred)
