**Who You Are**
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or billing
- Pride yourself on exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Know how to prioritize and manage your tasks effectively
- Love working with people and providing support to clients and team members
- Have been complimented on your excellent communication skills
- Can work efficiently and with integrity under pressure
- Are experienced in basic accounting tasks, including processing accounts receivable
- Have previous legal and/or real estate experience (beneficial, not required)

**How You'll Make a Difference**

We are committed to providing the highest level of client service at all stages of the claims process. We recognize the importance of efficient accounting methods to ensure our clients receive their settlement funds as quickly as possible and that payments are processed in the timeliest manner. The **Accounts Receivable Specialist** will work as part of our Financial Services team to support the firm with daily accounts receivable duties. You will:

- Complete daily accounts receivable transactions including but not limited to processing, verifying, and posting payments, and various account reconciliations
- Complete accounts payable expense entries and vendor invoice reconciliations
- Generate and communicate reporting between team members and other departments
- Accurately record payments into case management software (Proclaim)
- Analyze the status of accounts and balances and identify discrepancies
- Obtain information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable journals are up to date
- Perform accounting related tasks such as data entry, preparing statement of accounts, and updating system with outstanding payments
- Assist team members with preparation and completion of settlement meetings for clients
- Provide additional support to team and perform other ad hoc accounting tasks as necessary
