Allied is looking for a
**Manager, Procurement** to join our Corporate Accounting team.

**What will you do?**:
- Manage the strategic sourcing process, including vendor compliance, vendor approvals, preferred vendors, and assessing/aligning vendors' sustainability practices to Allied’s goals.
- Develop an inventory of the current service contracts to govern their life cycle.
- Lead the centralization of various procurement functions.
- Develop policies and procurement procedures.
- Explore existing and prospective systems related to procurement, contract management and vendor spend management.
- Assist the National Operations team with the tendering process.
- Oversee spend analysis to make informed decisions across different categories.
- Interact and liaise with stakeholders across the organization to identify and achieve potential savings or efficiencies.
- Develop processes to assess ongoing value and quality of services.
- Act as an ambassador to promote the need for continued improvement in procurement processes.
**What are we looking for?**:
- 4+ years of progressive business experience in developing sourcing, procurement and contract management strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practises.
- Experience with sourcing and procurement systems and tools.
- An assertive self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills.
- Have a keen attention to details and takes ownership and accountability for their work.
- Focused with a passion to drive and deliver effective change in a short period of time.
- Strong computer skills, intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and knowledge of MS Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Would be an asset:_
- Previous experience with Yardi.
- Bilingual (English and French).
