**About Klick Health**

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing both products and services for Klick by creating a buying strategy which takes into account budget requirements and supply needs. The Procurement Manager will strategize and negotiate with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective contracts in order to reduce procurement expenses. When required, the Procurement Manager will also be responsible for reporting to our VP, Finance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Meet with supervisors and department heads to understand the needs across the company.
- Sourcing reliable suppliers and vendors that have any required certifications, accreditations, and insurance, along with a steady stream of supply that fit within budget restraints.
- Negotiating with suppliers and developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.

- Sourcing and engaging vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Train new employees and support team members as necessary.
- Forecast needs and supplies.
- Review requests for proposals.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Prepare reports and perform other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Prior experience as a buyer or in other similar positions.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Ariba, and/or Envision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to negotiate contracts
- Skilled in effective verbal and written communication.
- Superior collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Positive attitude and good judgment.
