National Sales Manager

Reporting to the President, the National Accounts Sales Manager of a leading Home Fashions company, should be a self-starter with a professional demeanour and presence.
**Responsibilities**
- Meet and exceed all revenue and growth goals assigned;
- Actively solicit business with existing and new customers as directed.
- Develop, plan, and execute sales and marketing strategies to defend and extend share at assigned accounts.
- Establish, develop, strengthen and maintain relationships at all levels of assigned accounts.
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day account activity.
- Identify and quantify winnable projects which meet or exceed the business targets and are aligned with the business strategy.
- Ability to work with, product development, planning teams and other support functions to develop value-added products and services in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with design on product specs/tech packs to ensure target cost objectives can be met, and that they are sent out on time to meet required T&A milestones
**Qualifications**
- University Degree/College Diploma preferred.
- 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience preferably in Soft Home or Home Décor
- Confident user of Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Desire to collaborate with a team, as well as multiple departments / very strong interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed communication (written & verbal), strong problem solving and execution management skills.
- Must be a self-starter, ability to work with limited supervision & also function as part of a team, strong sense of urgency, motivated to win others commitment.
- Must be inquisitive, an abstract thinker capable of connecting the customer’s needs, both articulated and non-articulated, with our capabilities. Must be comfortable interacting across various sales teams, product development teams, sourcing and buying. Alert and receptive to shifting demands within a fast-paced, changing environment
- Comfortable and capable of delivering within a fast-paced environment, utilizing time management and organizational skills
- A positive, team first approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
- Skillful at listening, understanding and presenting detailed sales solutions to customers.
- A ‘One-Team’ approach toward departmental and company-wide goals
- Demonstrated to perform well under tight timelines; prioritize simultaneously
**Must be flexible to travel within GTA, Ontario, Quebec and for trade shows in the USA.**
