We are looking to expand our team and recruit a Product Manager who will have end-to-end ownership of the GPR product lines in the utility locating and concrete scanning markets. This includes both current product/portfolio management and new product development. You will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, finance, operations, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
**Main Duties of the Product Management Role**:
- Understand GPR with regards to customers, competitors, market dynamics and outlook.
- Work with global sales and operations organisations to identify market opportunities and customer requirements.
- Create value propositions and customer centric content marketing for the GPR product line.
- Identify and qualify opportunities for profitable new product development.
- Research identified opportunities to create product specifications, business cases and supporting information.
- Work with the marketing team to develop compelling collateral and campaigns for existing and new products.
- Build strong working relationships with the management team to influence product and commercial development direction.
- Work with the sales organisation to create and deliver regional strategies, messaging and value propositions to deliver regional goals.
**Main skills required for Product Manager Role**:
- Degree qualified, or alternative relevant experience. Geophysics experience would be beneficial but not necessary.
- Significant relevant commercial experience. If that knowledge is in the utility marketplace it would be great but not essential.
- Experience of the product life-cycle - current product management and new product development including successful introduction to the market.
- Experience of working with international markets and if you are multi-lingual it would be a fantastic benefit but not imperative.
