**Primary Responsibilities** - oversee and manage all production process and teams within the organization - oversee and manage all production supervisors - plan and execute a production schedule for the job - set, plan and meet all production targets and goals - implement and control the production schedule - review and adjust the schedule where and as needed - determine the human resources required - ensure the timely completion of all direct report employee reviews - coach and guide all production team members helping to improve the overall competency of the production staff - determine the material resources required - manage human and material resources to meet production targets - make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement - work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations - ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to - ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures - set product quality standards - monitor quality standards of products - implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives - analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems - determine and implement improvements to the production process - prepare and maintain production reports - monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement - estimate production costs - set production budgets - manage production budgets - implement cost control and cost saving programs - ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including quality, engineering, maintenance procurement, logistics, warehouse and management - Minimize the risk of accidents. - Minimize the risk of any quality issues - Maximize production outputs - Maximize productivity of the equipment - Maximize OEE - Maximize the technical knowledge and the engagement of the operations staff - Maximize the uptime of the equipment and the quality of the finished product. - Maximize the traceability of the product. - Achieve the production goals and improvements outlined by the "Team Leader". - Build the spirit of cooperation. **Education and Experience** - High School diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 3-5 year of production experience. - At least 5 years of experience as a production supervisor at manufacturing plant **Technical Skills** - Lifting up to 50 lb. - Basic computer skills - Hand-eye co-ordination; Manual dexterity - Standing/Walking/Bending and Lifting for 8-12 hours - Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting and production standards **Core Competencies** - Ability to work flexible shifts - Problem solving; Continuous learning - Team and customer oriented - Attention to detail - The ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently - Exceptional organizational and time management skills - Experience with production planning, controls and instrumentation **Compensation** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Paid time off Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Application question(s): - Have you managed 100 or more employees on production line? **Experience**: - Product management: 5 years (required) - Lean manufacturing: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
