Currently we have an opportunity for **Customer Service/Cashier** at our new store at 1909 Lawrence Ave., East location. Your skills that we need for our team are:

- Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service
- Register sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases
- Resolve customer issues and answers questions
- Bags purchases if needed
- Processes return transactions
- Operating a cash register: itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items
- Enter price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins
- Discount purchases by redeeming coupons
- Collects payments by accepting cash or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers
- Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver’s license number; and operating credit card authorization systems
- Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift
- Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
