**Inside Sales Representative**

**The Opportunity**

SMS Machine Tools Ltd “SMS” is looking for a talented, motivated individual to join our Inside Sales team The Inside Sales Team plays an integral role in day-to-day operations, offering a vast array of tooling lines and machine repair parts to support our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle all tooling/repair parts inquiries promptly
- Produce quotations, Receive and input customer orders, place orders with associated vendors and receive confirmations
- Work in close collaboration with various departments including Accounting, Warehouse, Field Service, Logistics, and Outside sales team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction during and after the sales cycle
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving to ensure orders are accurately fulfilled
- Print shipping/receiving documents as required
- Data entry of inventory details and Investigate inventory discrepancies as required.
- Organize, scan and distribute daily documents and save to computer
- Selected light duties as assigned when Inside Sales tasks are complete.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- High School or relevant postgraduate education
- + 2-year experience in similar roles in industrial settings
- Verbal & written communication and interpersonal and telephone skills
- Accuracy and efficiency are critical.
- Excellent organizational, time-manage, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage.
- Building and maintaining effective customer relationships
- Motivation for Sales
- Strong Technical Sales interest
- Self-Learner
- Mechanical Aptitude will be considered an asset
- Teamwork / Collaboration
