As a District Manager with us, you will provide overall vision, planning, direction, and mentorship in your assigned region. Additionally, you are tasked to make strategic decisions, executing, and delivering on those decisions, with a constant eye on operational excellence and financial goals.
- The District Manager establishes and maintains effective customer relationships and maintains mutually beneficial business relationships with our clients. Proactive leadership in developing overall financial and business planning as well selling new business and growing existing business will be fundamental. The ability to identify top talent, communicate your vision and develop them to their full potential will be critical to your success and the success of your area.
- As District Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of healthcare accounts (hospitals, senior living) throughout Ontario. This position reports to the Regional VP for our Central Region and has approximately 7 direct reports, at the management level, with total top line responsibility of $40M per year. This position can be based anywhere in the GTA, however you should be willing to travel about 25 - 30% of the time through your designated region.

Leadership -** Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and service excellence for employees, clients, and consumers. Coach & mentor employees by crafting a shared understanding of how and what needs to be achieved. Reward and recognize employees. Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organization. Plan and lead team management meetings. Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.

Client Relationship** - Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport for a mutually beneficial business relationship. Identify client needs and communicate operational progress. Facilitate and support new business and retention activities. Ensure team completes customer satisfaction surveys in all locations.

Financial Performance** - Build revenue and manage budget with sensitivity to costs and client needs. Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements for the district. Provide oversight and take ownership to deliver client and company financial targets using Aramark systems. Understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field preferred. Master’s Degree would be an asset.
- 10+ years progressive management experience managing complex operations/business with financial and operational responsibility for that business, multi-site OR multi-departmental.
- Successful high-volume P&L and budgetary management; exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of growing accounts.
- Demonstrated the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
- Self-starter, capable of leading, directing, and supporting a team in a diverse environment with highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
- Travel is as required, for account/facility visits and participation in Regional and National activities.
