**Role**:
Fairweather Ltd is looking for an energetic and sales driven District Manager who has attention to detail and the drive to succeed. The District Sales Manager will supervise and support a district of high profile stores in the Greater Toronto Area and must be a natural leader with the vision to see what the future can look like. The District Sales Manager is responsible to maximize the district’s overall performance as well as developing and motivating their team to achieve and surpass their sales objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Determine needs of the business and ensures maximize sales are achieved.
- Hire, develop and retain management teams.
- Coach and train staff and create succession planning for future growth.
- Direct and manage stores on product management and the execution of all visual directives.
- Establish and communicates clear expectations of the team.
- Control wages and shrink and ensures store audit compliance and shrink results are met.
- Ensures all staff adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Oversee and ensure all daily operation functions are performed.
**Qualifications**:
- University degree and/or College diploma in retail management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of District Sales Manager experience in fashion retail
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Business oriented and results oriented
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates ability to analyze business trends to drive sales
- Demonstrates ability to coach and train team to become successful
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule / various shifts to meet the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
