**Position Overview**
We are seeking a Junior Real Estate Lawyer to join our busy Alberta real estate practice. This role is ideal for a newly called or early-career lawyer looking to gain hands-on experience and develop a well-rounded real estate practice under the mentorship of senior counsel.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and mortgage refinances
- Draft and review contracts, trust letters, and mortgage and closing documents
- Conduct title and off-title searches and registrations with Land Titles
- Communicate with clients, realtors, lenders, brokers, and other legal professionals
- Assist with commercial real estate and leasing files as experience permits
- Ensure compliance with Law Society of Alberta rules and firm policies

**Qualifications**
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
- 0-3 years of post-call legal experience (real estate experience an asset but not required)
- Strong drafting, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in LDD or willingness to learn
